Glam and Giving is our 3rd annual fashion show - fundraiser event. When you purchase a ticket for this event you will directly impact the lives of local children all while you enjoy a beautiful lakefront view, bottomless mimosas, delicious light bites, and a runway fashion show featuring the latest looks from local boutiques. It's that simple! Get your ticket, tell a friend, and get ready for a stylish, fun afternoon that really makes a difference - FASHION FOR GOOD!

All proceeds from this event will benefit the efforts of Eight Waves. Eight Waves is a non-profit organization based in Winter Garden, Florida. We exist to provide services that provide STABILITY, EDUCATION accessibility and OPPORTUNITY for the children, young people and families of Winter Garden and the surrounding area.

Model Information
Models are a key part of the success of our Glam and Giving fundraising event benefiting Eight Waves. Our event will showcase three looks from ten local stores.
Models help fundraise for the event, wear a look, and walk the runway while a short bio about the model and an outfit description are read from the stage by the MC. Each model will be listed in the event program.
MODEL REQUIREMENTS
Raise a minimum of $250*
Attend a fitting.
Pick up their look before the event and transport it to the event.
Arrive at the event approximately 1 hour prior (noon arrival)
Attend a Zoom call that serves as an orientation prior to the event.

*FUNDRAISING DETAILS
Eight Waves will provide social graphics showcasing your participation in the Glam and Giving event, so you can easily post and promote your own fundraising efforts. An optional sample caption will be provided for your convenience.
Eight Waves will provide a unique link for you to track funds you raise.
The top fundraiser will be announced during our orientation Zoom call, publicly recognized at the event, and featured in a special shoutout on Eight Waves’ social media, along with receiving a special prize.
Store Involvement
We are selecting 10 stores to be a part of the event, each showcasing 3 looks on the runway.
Models will pick up their outfits from your store by April 14th. On this date, the models will try on the outfits to ensure proper fit. You will receive the models' sizes and measurements by March 26. An Eight Waves team member will return the items to your store. Please provide a detailed list of what is to be returned.
As a participating store you will receive:
Three outfits will be featured on our runway for 300+ attendees.
One paragraph about your store to be read aloud by the MC while your selected looks are modeled.
Short description detailing each outfit, read by the MC.
Your logo featured on the Eight Waves website.
A mention on Eight Waves’ social media platforms.
Your logo featured on the event program.
Your logo featured on signage at the event.
Three ways to be involved:
OPTION 1
A raffle basket containing cohesive items worth $250–$500.
OPTION 2
Glam Bag Items – 25 identical items, each worth at least $20.
*Glam Bags will be raffled and feature a variety of stores.
*One piece of marketing material about your store may be included with each item.
OPTION 3
A monetary donation of $500 to Eight Waves.
Sponsorship opportunities
We are expecting 300+ attendees at the event and will promote our sponsored businesses through various formats, both digitally before the event and in person at the event itself.

Raffle involvement
Raffle items are a key part of the success of the Glam and Giving fundraising event.

Our 300+ attendees will purchase tickets to bid on these baskets or bags, and 100% of the proceeds will support Eight Waves’ initiatives and programs that help local children.

By donating a raffle basket, you will receive:
Your store logo and details featured on signage at the event.
Your store mentioned from stage at the event.

By donating items for the glam bags, you will receive:
Your store logo and details featured on signage at the event.
An opportunity to include one piece of marketing material about your store inside each bag.
